How to Donate a Vehicle

  • Please contact Tom McCloskey at 206.920.0552 (or mccloskeys@bainbridge.net) to discuss your interest in donating a car, truck or other vehicle.
  • We will meet with you at a mutually convenient time and location to perform a visual inspection of the vehicle, test drive the vehicle, and verify that the vehicle’s Title information is in proper order.
  • We will ask you to do a small amount of paperwork:
    • Help us complete our ‘Vehicle Intake Form’
    • Have all listed owners sign the Vehicle Title, Vehicle Bill of Sale form, and other Department of Licensing required documents.
  • We will ask you to hold on to the vehicle until we are ready to pick it up by a Department representative in early August.
  • The Rotary Club never assumes ownership of a donated vehicle. Ownership and the vehicle’s Title will be transferred to the buyer at the conclusion of the Online Auction & Rummage Sale.
  • We will send you a 1098-C tax form within 30 days after the Online Auction sale is completed.
