The goal is to start each meal on time, and to offer the same food throughout the 1‑hour period.

If you want to eat the provided food, but arrive after a meal service ends, please let a member of the Food Committee know and every effort will be made to serve you a meal.

Over 120 Rotarians and more than 1,500 Volunteers are served lunch and dinner each day during Set Up Week.  There are a wide variety of dietary needs and preferences in the group of Volunteers.  It is impossible for the Food Committee to address them all.  The purpose of publishing meal menus on this website, and posting them in the Commons/Cafeteria area, is to provide each person with advance information on what will be served for lunch and dinner each day.  Please review the menus so you can bring your own food if the provided food does not meet your dietary needs, or if you do not like, or cannot eat, the provided food choices.

Local Suppliers

The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island thanks our local farmers who supply produce for the meals for our volunteers during set-up week.  These local farmers include the following:

  • Butler Green Farms
  • Farm House Organics
  • Laughing Crow Farms
  • Paulson Farms
  • Persephone Farms

Green Auction & Rummage Sale

The Rotary Club strives to make the Auction & Rummage Sale as “green” as possible.  This includes, among other things, minimizing and properly handling food service wastes and using eco-friendly materials.  We need your help to make sure the compostable plates and bowls, stainless steel flatware, and food wastes are placed in the appropriate, well-marked containers in the Commons/Cafeteria Area.
