Donation Pickup Service

Update: As of 6/23, all pickup spots are booked. Thank you to everyone who scheduled a pickup!

The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island is pleased to offer a Donation Pickup Service for transporting item donations to Woodward Middle School. This service is only available to addresses on Bainbridge Island, and appointments are limited.

We are pleased to partner with DonateKitsap for our Donation Pickup Service this year. We will work together to fulfill all scheduled pickup appointments.

Donation Pickup Dates

Island Pickup will operate from 8:00am to 8:00pm on these days:

  • Friday, June 24
  • Saturday, June 25
  • Sunday, June 26

Donation Pickup Fees

  • Less than 50% of a box truck load: $90
  • From half to a full box truck load: $140

Current clients of Helpline House: Please obtain a voucher from the receptionist at Helpline House to enable reduced rates.

Note: Box trucks are 10' long, 6' wide and 6' high.

Payment

Cash or checks only. Please make checks payable to the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island.

Disposal Fees

If you schedule pickup for items that are difficult (or impossible) to sell at the Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale, a disposal fee may be added to the charge above. This additional fee helps cover the disposal costs that we incur. In addition to the categories below, please review the list of things we do not accept at all.

$10 Fee:

  • Doors
  • Kitchen cabinets (each)
  • Sinks
  • Windows

$20 Fee:

  • Appliances (large)
  • Automobile tires (set of 4)
  • Bathtubs & spas
  • Exercise equipment (large)
  • Mattresses & box springs (each)
  • Sofas, couches & hide-a-beds (each)
