How to Bid on and Buy a Vehicle

Vehicles

  • All vehicle sales are IN PERSON at the Auction site.
  • All vehicles are drivable and sold AS IS. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the condition of the vehicle.
  • All vehicles will be started and run 15 minutes before each live auction for that vehicle begins.

Bid Sheets

  • BID SHEETS are located on each vehicle windshield.
  • A minimum opening bid for each vehicle will be specified on the bid sheet.
  • Record your bid on the bid sheet (no need to pre-register).

Live Auction

  • The schedule of vehicle live auction sale times is listed onsite.
  • At the specified time for each vehicle live auction the auctioneer will read the names of bidders with recorded bids on the bid sheet to confirm in person attendance.
  • The opening bid is the highest amount recorded on the silent bid sheet.
  • The auctioneer will conduct a live auction until the highest bid is offered and accepted when the auctioneer announces "SOLD".

Sale

  • The successful bidder/buyer will proceed to the vehicle tent to pay with cash, debit card, credit card, or check and receive a Bill of Sale & Vehicle Title.
  • Buyer MUST remove vehicle from Woodward Middle School premises by no later than 3pm. No exceptions.
  • The Buyer has 15 days to register the vehicle in their name.
  • The Rotary Vehicle Department will file a Report of Sale with Washington State Department of Licensing within 48 hours of the sale.
  • Rotary is not responsible for the vehicle once it is sold.
