Scholarships
Funding Futures
Approximately 8% of Auction & Rummage Sale net proceeds are devoted to college scholarship programs. The Auction currently funds two separate scholarship programs.
Community Service Recognition Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate exemplary commitment to, and leadership in, community service and embody the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”
Career/Technical Education Scholarships are administered and awarded in conjunction with Olympic College. Recipients are students enrolled at Olympic College who live on and/or attended high school on Bainbridge Island.
From 2008 through 2022, 147 Community Service Recognition Scholarships and 19 Career/Technical Education Scholarships were awarded. Recipients are listed below by year.
